S&P Consultants, Inc. has recognized the desire of many Anatomic Pathology clients to add voice recognition into their department workflow. As a result, S&P has established a relationship with Cerner Corporation to be the vendor of choice for installing and supporting the Dragon® NaturallySpeaking Medical Solution product. Dragon® NaturallySpeaking Medical Solution enables Pathology Assistants, Residents and Pathologists to work faster and more efficiently. Dragon can be linked to the Cerner Millennium and Classic Anatomic Pathology systems, as well as Meditech, Sunquest and other Anatomic Pathology systems, to allow users to dictate directly into the Anatomic Pathology module/application. Clients are currently using Dragon in the grossing bay, sign-out benches and in the pathologists' office. This product is easy to use and has allowed clients to reduce and even eliminate their transcription staff. This technology can be integrated into any system that utilizes templates or textual results, such as Nuclear Medicine, Radiology systems, and other highly textualized result oriented systems. S&P has highly trained staff who will analyze your current workflow (Classic or Millennium), review system requirements, install the product, and provide end-user training and support
The cost to you - less than 1/2 FTE of a transcriptionist position.
