Database Management and Application Support:
S&P provides expert application resources to back-fill short term needs for specific projects or during resource shortages. If needed, we will also provide long term solutions for your Cerner IS needs.
- Provide daily maintenance for all Cerner applications
- Provides expert resources, with many years of clinical healthcare and Cerner experience
- Provide remote and on-site resources
- Identify and resolve day to day issues
- Reduce downtime during system resolutions
- Provide analysis and resolution for application and system issues

Test Directory Maintenance:
- Create new tests & procedures for reference labs, new institutions, or hospital mergers
- Create protocols, power forms, and event sets in all Millennium applications
- Update/maintain procedure directories and formularies
- Update regulatory and clinical safety databases in a timely manner
- Develop appointment/order protocols to reduce staff order entry process flows
FSI/MDI Support:
- Create custom interface feeds into and out of Cerner through open engine
- Trouble-shoot and resolve Foreign System Interfaces problems
- Monitor interfaces and maintain tables on a day to day basis
- Train your staff to identify and isolate problems
- Identify resolutions which can be developed and implemented quickly
- Provide on-site resources to install most clinical instruments
- Provide remote services so that you can concentrate on bringing instruments on-line
- Perform all Cerner database work
- Linearity and acceptance testing is performed by the client
- Develop and customize current interfaces for clients needs
Project Management:
- Provide Project Management services for long and short-term projects
- Communicate with vendor companies to keep projects moving
- Provide remote and/or on-site services
- Work with your staff as needed, allowing them to focus on other priorities
Management Reporting Services:
S&P has developed a product that will allow you to extract utilization and turn-around time data out of Cerner in a user friendly front-end and report format. By providing Ad Hoc and Operational reports, your management team can pull the reports as needed, and track them over many years. Your department heads will be provided with monthly customized reports containing the data they require.
CCL/Cobol Programming:
S&P provides expert programming, on an "as needed" basis. With the complexity of the Cerner system, design, creation, and implementation of complex programs can be extremely time consuming and difficult. Our knowledge and experience allows us to provide multiple solutions for most of your information needs. Due to mergers and buy-outs, many Cerner clients need customized reports and files from their clinical systems, for regulatory or third party entities
