Job Description:

The Senior EHR Consultant – Perioperative Nursing Analyst will be using optimization of existing SurgiNet install, potential for minor fixes to complete redesign for nursing. Expansion of Surginet to specialized areas i.e. Endo, interventional radiology. Deployment of functionality not currently in use. Ideal candidate would be up to speed on most recently released functionality and be able to assist a client in not only optimizing what they have in use but working to strategically enhance their workflow through the configuration and deployment of new functionality.

Qualifications include:

  • Nursing degree with Cerner Millennium SurgiNet Implementation Experience
  • Perioperative/Surgical nursing experience
  • Experience with SurgiNet nursing documentation build(PreOp, IntraOp, Post Op, Endo, Interventional Radiology, etc.), preference card build, and Sterile Processing system integration with Cerner
  • Capable of being primary analyst responsible for facilitating design and build of all nursing/Surginet related components
  • Implementation experience with the most recently released functionality for the Periop Environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills , Excellent communication skills (oral/written)
  • Disciplined, reliable and responsible self-starter that can self-manage with strong critical-thinking skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% (locations will vary based on client projects)
