Kim Tombragel

Kim is a solutions-oriented, performance-driven leader with a long record of achievement in healthcare services and consulting. He understands that successful HIT implementations require both a mastery of a project’s myriad details—and the ability to assemble and “harmonize” the right team to execute on a holistic, results-focused strategy.

At S&P, Kim is a powerful advocate for our clients bringing long analytical and practical implementation experience to bear on today’s HIT challenges. He brings a deep understanding of the dynamics between clinicians and technology to S&P clients, with significant real-world experience inside large multi-facility healthcare organizations.

Before joining our team, Kim helped lead Leidos Health (formerly SAIC), progressing through a series of roles over ten years, including Sr. Director of Consulting Solutions, VP Sales, and ultimately Managing Director. During his tenure, Kim oversaw major projects such as the roll-out of a next-gen EHR solution for the 1400+ providers of one of the Southeast’s largest health systems.

On “the other side of the desk,” Kim spent seven years at INTEGRIS Health, in Oklahoma—an early Cerner customer—in a variety of IT roles, culminating in serving as their Director of Clinical Applications.

Kim is a frequent visitor to the American Southwest and enthusiastically embraces the “cowboy code”—bringing values such as integrity, helpfulness, and diligence to his daily activities. He graduated with a BA in Business Administration from Louisiana Tech University and has been an active member of HIMSS since 1998.
